Our Accessibility Efforts

Accessibility considerations are incorporated into our ongoing product development and quality assurance processes.

Our accessibility efforts may include:

  • Keyboard accessibility support

  • Responsive layouts and reflow support

  • Color contrast review

  • Accessible form labels and error messaging

  • Support for mobile accessibility features

  • Screen reader compatibility for supported workflows

  • Compatibility with platform accessibility settings

  • Ongoing accessibility review and improvement

Our applications are designed to support commonly used assistive technologies and accessibility features where applicable, including:

  • Keyboard navigation

  • Browser zoom and text scaling

  • Device magnification tools

  • Speech-to-text and dictation features supported by the operating system

Important Clinical Imaging Limitation

Our platform includes workflows that depend on clinical photography and visual interpretation of dermatologic findings.

Examples include:

  • Capturing images of skin conditions

  • Reviewing lesion photographs

  • Comparing visual skin findings over time

  • Interpreting dermatologic imagery

Because these workflows are inherently visual in nature, certain features may not be fully accessible to users with severe visual impairments.

These limitations are related to the essential medical functionality of dermatologic image capture and visual clinical assessment.

However, we aim to make surrounding workflows and supporting functionality as accessible as reasonably possible, including:

  • Navigation

  • Messaging

  • Documentation

  • Intake forms

  • Authentication

  • Notifications

  • Administrative workflows

The platform does not generally rely on hearing-based interactions for core functionality.

Physical Accessibility Considerations

We recognize that some users may utilize assistive technologies or alternative input methods.

Depending on device and operating system capabilities, users may be able to access platform functionality using:

  • Speech-to-text and dictation tools

  • Keyboard navigation

  • Switch-control technologies

  • Native mobile accessibility settings

  • Other operating system accessibility features

Accessibility support may vary depending on:

  • Device type

  • Operating system version

  • Browser version

  • Third-party integrations

  • Assistive technology configuration

Ongoing Improvement

Accessibility is an ongoing effort.

We continue to evaluate opportunities to improve accessibility and usability across our applications while balancing the clinical requirements of dermatologic image capture and review.
